Projected GDP per capita Ranking

Liechtenstein would continue to rank first in nominal and PPP GDP per capita by 2026. Liechtenstein will remain at the top of the table for the next few years, outpacing second-ranked occupiers Luxembourg and Singapore by almost $93K and Int.$46K in nominal and PPP terms, respectively.

In the nominal ranking, the Netherlands would surpass Macao to join the top ten. Another change in the top 20 would be San Marino and Israel passing Australia and Belgium, respectively. The United Kingdom will join the top 20 list. Taiwan's economic ranking would rise four places in the top 50. Saudi Arabia will drop four positions, followed by the Bahamas (-3), and Andorra (-3).

Guyana would become the seventh richest economy in the world, surpassing Norway, Switzerland, and Brunei Darussalam in the PPP ranking. Poland will go up three spots in the top 50, while France and New Zealand will drop two spots.

Guyana has the highest growth rate (22.95%) among the top 50 richest economies, followed by Qatar (6.09%). In 2026, Puerto Rico's growth rates will be negative.

GDP per capita ranking has been occupied by smaller economies, as among the top 10 list, only two economies (the United States and the Netherlands) are in the top 20 list of GDP (nominal) ranking, and only two economies (Singapore and Switzerland) are in the top 40 list of GDP (PPP) ranking.
