As per the report of the Technical Group by the National Commission, the population of Arunachal Pradesh is projected to be 1,580,000, or 1.58 million, or 15.65 lakhs, as of July 1, 2023. Arunachal Pradesh is the third-least populous state in India. It is the sixth-largest state in northeastern India in terms of population. Arunachal Pradesh’s population is projected to reach 17.22 lakh in 2036.
The size of the population of Arunachal Pradesh is equivalent to that of Trinidad and Tobago, the 154th most populous country in the world.
In 2023, the sex ratio of the total population in Arunachal Pradesh will be 105.599 males per 100 females. There are 811,000, or 811K, or 8.11 lakh, males and 768,000, or 768K, or 7.68 lakh, females in Arunachal Pradesh. Arunachal Pradesh has 43,000, or 43k, more males than females.
