List of North American countries by GDP per capita

The United States is the richest economy in North America, followed by Canada. These two have a GDP per capita of above 50k US dollars. Sixteen economies would have a per capita GDP above $10,000. Haiti is the poorest economy in North America.

In 2024, Antigua and Barbuda will overtake Trinidad and Tobago to become the 8th richest economy in North America. Only the United States is in the top ten richest economies in the world, and six economies are within the top 50 world GDP per capita rankings.

All North American economies would see an increase in their per capita income in 2024 compared to 2023. The United States will add $3,740 in 2024, followed by Costa Rica ($1,641) and Mexico ($1,607).

In PPP data, the United States, Canada, and Aruba have a GDP per capita of above 50k Int. Dollars. There will be no change in PPP ranking in 2024. Only the United States is in the top ten richest economies globally, and five economies are within the top 50 world GDP per capita rankings.

Out of 24 economies, the PPP per capita of 23 economies would increase, and one economy would decrease in 2024 compared to 2023. The United States will add Int. $3,740 in 2024, followed by St. Kitts and Nevis (Int. $2,560). The only decliner is Haiti.
